Details for the memorial restoration project and information on how people can help.

First, stop by the Malvern Red & Black Society website to learn more about the school and the memorial restoration.

http://www.malverncollegiate.com/

On the home page you will find information on how to make an online donation to the Foundation but here is the direct link:

www.canadahelps.org

Once there, select "The Onward Malvern Foundation" as the charity of choice.

As mentioned at the meeting, the need is for numerous donations, not necessarily large ones.

Thanks for your help with this. I will write again soon when I have a bit more to go on with some of the men. I have pinpointed where a few of them fell but I don't have map coordinates.

I have attached an article I did for the Beach Metro News last year that mentions two of the WW1 airmen, the Sisley Brothers.

I am also attaching a PDF of the Honour Roll info I handed out at the meeting.

JAN 5 NEWS FLASH

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd pass this along, hot off the presses... The Minister of Veterans' Affairs, Jean Pierre Blackburn, called the TDSB to say the ministry has approved a grant of $14,000 for the Malvern CI cenotaph restoration project
